BC&P International are excited for the soccer season to start! “Many athletes are aware that putting in the work leads to results. Soccer season has come up recently and we’re excited to see which players have improved and which have been working hard. It’s evident because they do better in the field,” says Gustavo Rodriguez managing director of BC&P International. It places an importance on how much they worked on themselves and their skills during offseason. It’s important to understand that there is no offseason when it comes to learning and getting better. This implies to athletes and individuals in the business world.

“The wonderful thing and similarly between sports and other goals are lessons that can be learned. Sports teach us that having a mentality of being the best and doing the best is something that every individual should inhibit,” says Gustavo Rodriguez of BC&P International. At BC&P International, we made a list of 3 lessons that can be learned from soccer or any sport.

Practice, Practice, and Practice

When you realize that you could do better, something inside you will let you know that you have not worked hard enough. You can be better and because of this, it’s not about being perfect it’s just about improving your skills. We’re sure that Sergio Ramos of the Spanish football/soccer team didn’t get amazing overnight, he had to practice consistently to be where he is at today.

Make sure to focus in on what you can improve, don’t burden or injure yourself in trying to do crazy things just to get better. In moderation, make sure you establish the grounds of setting a mindset to focus on our weak points, from there create a regiment to improve.

Team Player

Sports teach us how to work together with other people. Sometimes, the primary player will take everything and think that just because they are good, they can carry the team on their back. This is wrong. Make sure you’re finding a balance between doing good and working with your team to let them do good also!
