The NFIB study takes a broad look at the current position, and future expectations, of small businesses throughout the United States. One factor that is very good news for the economy is the continued rise in job creation, with significant net increases and in another finding, however, shows that the picture could be even rosier if only the businesses were able to recruit workers for all the positions that they had.

The job openings figure, as revealed by the FNIB’s survey, is now at its highest level for five years. 29% of small businesses said that they had job openings right now that they were unable to fill.
